A. 6 percent of 208,000 dollars is 16,800 because 6/100 x 280,000 is 16,800 which is the commission of the expected house price.

If the house sold for the original price of $208,000 she would make $12,840 in commission. If the house sold for $205,000 she would make $12,300 in commission. She still makes over $12,000 even when the house sells for $205,000.
