Dante and Jarrod
were arguing who made more money at their job. Dante made $220 a week
while Jarrod made $50 a week plus $8.00 per hour. How many hours would
Jarrod need to work to make more money than Dante? Use three sentences to
help justify your answer.
Jarrod needs to work 8 hours.
ReplyDeleteFor each person you set up an equation. Dante makes 200w, Jarrod makes 50w+8h. Therefore Jarrod's deposit is a multi step equation. You plug a number in for h his hours and add 50 until your number or total is greater than Dante.
sorry I used the same process different numbers, he works 22 hours for more money. and makes 226 in leading.
