Write a real world situation that could be modeled by this equation:
You and a friend decide to go to the movies. The admission fee is 40 dollars total for both you and your friend. While watching the movies you see other friends and decide to treat the to popcorn any flavor popcorn. Let (x ) represent one bag of popcorn for each friend. (Y) represent the total amount you spent al together
You and 7 friends go to the mall. The cost of there outfits is 40 dollars for all of them. While waiting in line your friend says "you can't forget about shoes". (x) is the amount of shoes and (y) represents the total all together.
You and 6 friends go to a public library. The cost for one book is 40 dollars. You and your friends decide to get one book each. Let x be the number of books you and your friends each get and let y be the total cost for all.
You and your 6 brothers go to the photo shop. The cost of each picture is 40 dollars. You and your brothers decide to take one picture each. Let( x) be the number of the total amount of pictures you and your brothers took. Let (y) be the total cost of all the picture.
You and 6 friends go to the zoo. You and your friends decide to get 6 t-shirts. The total cost of the t-shirts is how $40 dollars. Let (x) be the number of t-shirts you buy. Let (y) be the total amount of the t-shirts.
