Week 9 Reflection
Two consecutive even integers have a sum of 26. What are the
two integers?
I agree with Mylasha when she says that the number 12 and 14 are the two consecutive even integers that have a sum of 26. They are two consecutive even integers because there is a difference of 2 between the numbers and that they both are even. They also fit in the equation n+n+2=26, which was the equation that i used to help me find out the answer.(2n+2=26 is the simplified form)
Yes, I agree. 12+14=26 something that is a bit funny to me, you can divide it by 2 and get 13. 12 and 14 is around 13. I tried it with other numbers too: 20+18=38/3=19 .... 20+22=42/2=21.....88+90=178/2=89..... sorry that's just how i got it.
12and 14aretwoconsecutive intergers with asumof26.I know this because bot number are even. Also14is the next even number after 12.
ReplyDeleteI agree with mylasha because if u add 12 and 14 it = 26 which both are equal number plus if u no how to count 14 comes after 12
DeleteI agree with both of them because when u add the up it equals 26 and they are separated by two so they're consecutive

So far I agree with everyone because when you add everything you get 36. They are are also separated by 2. They are consecutive.
ReplyDeleteI agree with every body because 14 and 123 are both consecutive numbers and 14 comes after 12
