Week 4 Reflection
A number is doubled and then increased by seven. The result is ninety-three. What is the original number? EXPLAIN
The answer is 43. I found that out by setting up an equation. 2n+7=93. Then you subtract 7 from both sides and you get 2n=86. Then you simply divide 2 by 2 and 2 by 86. Then you get n=43.......which is the answer.
since the number is doubled and increased by 7 the result is 93. you would subtract 7 from 93 and that equals 86. then you would divide 86 by 2 and you would get 43. so the so the answer is 43
I agree with everyone who said that the original number is 43. To find out the original number, I first subtracted 7 from 93 (93-7) which came out to 86. Next I divided 86 by 2 (86/2) and it came out to 43. So the original number is 43 and to check it, you can double 43 and then just add 7 and you would come up to 93.
43- I had gotten my result by subtracting 93 by 7. I had gotten 86. Then I simply divided 86 by 2. 43
ReplyDelete93-7=85
Delete86/2= 43 !!!
The numbe ris 43.I used the equation 2n+7=93. When I solved the equation I got 43.

ReplyDeleteThe answer would be 43.You subtract 7 from 93.Then you divide that by 2.That is why the answer is 43.
ReplyDeletesince the number is doubled and increased by 7 the result is 93.
Deleteyou would subtract 7 from 93 and that equals 86.
then you would divide 86 by 2 and you would get 43.
so the so the answer is 43
First what you would do is subtract 7 from 93. Then you get 86, after that you just divide that by 2 and you get 43
DeleteI agree. 93-7=86
ReplyDelete86/2
the number is 43. To check, just multiply by 2 then add seven lol. it come out to..............93!!!!

I agree with everyone because 93-7=86 and then you divide that by 2 and the answer is 43. 43 is the original number.
