As we begin the new grading period we are going to reflect on something from the first grading period. Use at least three sentences to reflect on something that you need to improve on. This could be something with your behavior in or outside of class, needing to study more, or whatever.
Remember you get a bonus point for answering on the class blog!
I need help with my studying skills because I have to do so much work at my house that I can barely get anything done. I also need help with concentrating in class because with some of the kids distracting me it's hard to do my work. I also need a new spot so that I can see the smartboard and not have you getting in front of me. That's kind of it really.

DeleteI'm going to be telling you about one thing I need to improve on from last grading period.I need to improve on remembering about homework because sometimes I forget and then the next day I have to rush and do it then.That is one thing I need to improve on. :)

DeleteI need to start concentrating in classes more. I usually space out and not listen to anything. I try to keep up and make sure I have everything I need for each class. I sometimes miss out on hearing the directions.

DeleteOne thing I need to improve on is memorization or memory. I need to be able to remember formulas for future things, doing certain equations, and the related. I don't study as much because I memorize so I need to work on both my study and memorization skills, since they go together.
ReplyDeleteYes memorizing things is important in math but more important is understanding why we are using certain formulas. Also, yuo get to use a formula sheet in 8th grade so just make sure you understand the formulas!
DeleteSomething that I need to improve on from the last grading period is my concentrating skills like Mary. From time to time, I space out when a teacher is talking, so i either miss the question they are asking or get lost.So i need to start increasing my concentrating skills that I won't space out from time to time that much.

DeleteSomething I need improvement with is my concentration skills. Sometimes I get frustrated with the work in class because it gets hard and confusing. Also I get confused about what problems we have to do even though you put that up on the back board. Im a very technical person so you may not understand.

ReplyDeleteYou don't have enough time? Or you choose to do other things with you time? It only takes a couple of minutes to do and you have 5760 minutes to do them!
DeleteI need to stop being afraid to ask, and answer questions. I don't really space out as much as I used to, but I still do from time to time. I'm having trouble seeing in the back, but I am to scared to ask to move up. I need to improve on that. A lot more too.

Deleteone thing that I need to do is start asking question on how to do things I have trouble with. I really don't ask question because I hate feeling like I'm dumb because I don't no how to do it. this grading period if I'm still in the class I will start to ask more question and I like my new seat because its in the front and when I'm in the back I cant really see I need to get my classes.
ReplyDeleteYes asking qeustions is important. If you look at the students in your class who as many questions, they get some of the best grades in the class! You are in a good class and nobody cares if you ask questions!

ReplyDeleteI need to work on being able to make my own equation for certain problems. I also need to work on being able to solve the problem once I figure out how to set the equation up. I may need to work on asking questions in class if I don't understand.

Another thing I need to work on is PAYING ATTENTION!!!!But I listen with my ear I Learn a little but not a lot so I need to pay attention and listen to know what I'm Doing. One last thing is I CAN'T see yep I need glass I may get glass later on it hard to see what you are doing case and it very hard to understand what you are talking about but my ear are very good so I can kind of understand ( ' V ')--b
